What is Working Well, and what does it do?

Part of the Essex Wellbeing Service, Working Well provides Essex businesses (excluding Southend-On-Sea and Thurrock) with free workplace health and wellbeing support.

This support, commissioned by Essex County Council, consists of the Working Well Accreditation, alongside three other free options: Mental Health Aware Programme, Small Business HR Support and Mental Health First Aid England Training.

How can my organisation benefit from Working Well?

Taking care of your employees’ wellbeing is essential. It helps to improve morale, retention, productivity, reputation and the general health and happiness of your employees. 

Organisations can benefit from Working Well by receiving the support, training and recognition they need to effectively support the wellbeing of their workforce, which is delivered via a choice of four programmes – completely free of charge.

Signing up for one or more of our Working Well programmes will give you with the confidence that you’re doing enough to support the health and wellbeing of your workforce.

Working Well Accreditation

Build, maintain and evidence a robust wellbeing strategy and programme for your employees. 

Mental Health Aware Programme

Embed and increase mental health awareness in your workplace with training and support.

Small Business Workplace Wellbeing Awards

Gain free workplace wellbeing support and training to improve the wellbeing of your workforce.

MHFA England Training

Free, internationally recognised Mental Health First Aid England training for individuals.
